Professional Experience
Sirena joined Miller Monroe Holton & Plyler in September 2026. Before joining the firm, she served as an active-duty Judge Advocate in the United States Army, gaining extensive courtroom experience prosecuting complex cases.
Sirena spent the entirety of her active-duty career prosecuting. She began at Fort Benning, Georgia, prosecuting general crimes before transitioning into prosecuting solely special victims’ crimes. After finishing her time at Fort Benning and graduating from Airborne School, Sirena moved to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where she served as a Special Trial Counsel. There, she prosecuted serious cases involving complex issues of domestic violence, sexual assault, and homicide. These assignments shaped her careful approach to case preparation and honed her courtroom advocacy.
Following her active-duty service, Sirena practiced as a senior associate attorney at Blood Law in North Carolina. She continues to serve in the United States Army Reserve as a Trial Defense Counsel, defending clients accused of violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Sirena earned her bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University in 2017 and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army Reserve. Her love of Colonial Williamsburg later brought her to William & Mary Law School, where she earned her law degree in 2021.
Personal
Sirena lives in Fuquay-Varina with her husband, Chris, their son, and their two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, lifting with her husband, and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies and Penn State football.
