Alexandra E. Davis Joins Miller & Monroe
RALEIGH — July 26, 2016 — Miller & Monroe is pleased to announce that Alexandra Davis joined the firm’s litigation practice in April 2016. A 2015 graduate of Campbell Law School, Alexandra commenced her legal career as a volunteer law clerk in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina and the North Carolina Court of Appeals before pursuing her interest in practicing civil litigation. “In a fairly short period of time, Alex has established quality relationships with leaders in the legal community. She brings a wealth of knowledge, energy, and ambition to our litigation team, and, most importantly, her commitment to building long-term relationships in the local business and legal community fits perfectly with our firm’s mission.” Jason Miller, Partner, Miller & Monroe.
While in law school, Alexandra was actively involved in several student organizations, serving as the Membership Editor of the Campbell Law Review, an advocate in a national moot court competition, and the president of the Campbell Law St. Thomas More Society. She developed her litigation experience through a wide variety of internships, working with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina, the Tort Claims Section of the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office, the Campbell Senior Law Clinic, and a civil litigation firm.
“We believe that Alex has the character and aptitude to become a leader in our local Bar,” added Jeff Monroe, Partner. “She is well-suited to serve the needs of our firm’s clients and grow our litigation practice. We are thrilled that Alex has joined our team.”
With Miller & Monroe, Alexandra will focus her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, construction law, bankruptcy, fiduciary and estate litigation, and personal injury.
Founded in 2009, Miller & Monroe is a civil litigation firm serving corporations, small businesses, and individuals in the Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill areas, and throughout the State of North Carolina.
